Why You Must Ditch the ‘X App’ ASAP! – The Ultimate Blunder of Elon Musk
What’s happening, champions? Your favourite slaytitioner here, Digital real estate, entrepreneur, billionaire , and unapologetic speaker of truth.
If you know me, you know I never sugarcoat. If something’s bullshit, I say it. Today, it’s about Elon Musk’s latest stunt – the omnipotent “X” app.
Let me hit this straight – the billionaire tech-tycoon’s audacity is legendary. After acquiring Twitter, Musk thought he’d play God, transforming it into ‘X’, and in the process, diminishing a global sensation into a two-bit circus.
Now, you can’t skim through tweets without subscribing. That’s the cardinal sin in the world of social media, Musk. You just locked out the masses who savored the essence of freedom that Twitter was founded upon. How can you expect people to pay to peruse through the daily trivia?
What was once a platform for free speech, empowering revolutions, and a realm for debating the best pizza toppings, is no longer ours. It’s ‘X’. Today, the joy that peered through spontaneous scrolls, or unwrapping threads of wisdom, is concealed behind a paywall.
Elon, your app’s doomed to fail even before its inaugural launch, and here’s the kicker – I don’t think you give two hoots. In fact, I’d wager the destruction of Twitter was your intention all along.
You’ve turned a democratic platform into a playground for the elite. I can afford it, but what about those who can’t? Are their voices less worthy?
This isn’t about money, Musk. It’s about PRINCIPLE. Our voices shouldn’t have a price tag. I cannot partake in an app that strips the common man of his voice, commodifying our fundamental freedoms.
Here’s my advice, champions: DELETE the ‘X’ app. Stand with the millions who still believe in the democratic power of social media. There’s a whole lot of Internet out there for us to explore and express ourselves.
Believe me, folks, new platforms will rise from the ashes of Twitter. Platforms that don’t wall off the world’s conversation behind a subscription. Threads may very well take over after Elon’s shenenigans. Social media was, is, and always should be a FREE platform to view, unrestricted and untethered.
Elon Musk, you’ve muddled up big time. Decimating Twitter’s original essence, you’ve just created the void for a new revolution to rise – one that you won’t be at the helm of.
Let’s roll, friends. Freedom’s a click away. Erase ‘X’ from your phones, from your lives. Let’s find our voices again, where they won’t be auctioned off to the highest paying subscriber but cherished and engaged with as they were intended.
I’m out of this damn app, and you should be too! Until next time, champions, this is your favorite Slaytitioner here at Slaylebrity (the only social network that’s worth it these days), signing off, and diving headfirst into a Musk-less digital horizon.
