Beyonce and JAY-Z are making a killing with their On The Run II tour — but maybe not as much as you think.
According to new figures released to Billboard Boxscore, the Carters’ show in Minneapolis was listed as a “sellout” with only about 33,000 tickets sold.
The problem? The venue actually holds 66,000. Meaning either their stage literally blocks half of U.S. Bank Stadium or, more intriguingly, the power couple are trying to cover up soft numbers!
The figures for their “sold out” Detroit show are just as shady. Ford Field has a capacity of over 65,000, yet their show was listed as a “sellout” with just 44,000 tickets sold. Hmm…
It’s not like no one’s rushing to see Bey and Jay, but would they really fudge numbers to make themselves seem more desired than they actually are? We’ll let you be the judge of that.
