When I’m with you, there’s no need to fret or wait
You know just what to say and what to do
And that’s why on this Father’s Day, I wrote this ode to you
You’re always there for me, no matter what
You lift me up when I’m feeling stuck
And you do it all with a great big smile
Making me feel like everything is worthwhile
You teach me to be strong, brave and kind

You show me how to be a better person every day
