Whether you need to get motivated or you just want to do more with your life one of the best ways to do this is to set a goal that makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning. When you have a strong purpose and you start each day with a goal that makes you want to get to work on it your day will be more productive and you will eventually reach the goal that you have set. Don’t be discouraged if you do not see instant changes or it takes some time to work towards the goal that you have set, each small step that you take on the path to fulfilling your goal is a step towards success and a better you. No matter what your age is you are never too old to try and be a better person.

Think about what interests or excites you, and then use this to set your goal so that it is something you really want to accomplish. This will help you wake up full of excitement, so that you can not wait to get out of bed and get started. Some people go through life without ever getting excited about anything, taking each day for granted and being happy to simply coast through life without truly making an effort or having real purpose. This is not really living it is just existing, and without a goal in mind or a purpose in life it may be difficult to exit your bed and start the day each morning.

Unhappiness with your line of work leads to low productivity

What is the difference between hobby and passion? Merriam-Webster defines passion as “an object of desire or deep interest,” and hobby as “a pursuit outside one’s regular occupation engaged in especially for relaxation.” In other words, a hobby is something you do for fun while a passion is something you want to do intensely, to the extent of losing sleep. Setting a goal you’re passionate with makes it easier for you to commit. When you’re passionate about something, nobody has to force you to do it; you willingly and whole-heartedly subject yourself to long hours of work just to get what you want. From the Latin word “passio” that means suffering, passionate overwhelms you with a feeling of devotion, almost akin to suffering. But this “suffering” gives a reason for living, a purpose for existence. Apple CEO, Steve Jobs said, “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”Unhappiness with your line of work results to low productivity and performance, affecting your mindset and making you prone to depression. Emotional happiness in the workplace or in any aspects of your life greatly affects how your whole body submits to it. So it’s either you develop a passion for your job, or you find a job you’re passionate about
