BWS is a non-profit organization based in Enugu Nigeria dedicated to supporting individuals affected by breast cancer and their families. BWS has been carrying out their mission for the past several years through various programs, including research and education initiatives. With the goal of raising awareness and providing support to those in need, the organization has become something of a driving force in the breast cancer community. In an effort to further their mission, BWS is seeking to engage volunteers to help submit grants on their behalf.

Project Description

Volunteers will be tasked with aiding BWS with their grant writing efforts. Volunteers will work as independent contractors, creating and submitting grant applications on a commission basis. Commission will be calculated based on the amount of funds awarded to BWS, paid out quarterly via bank transfer.

Required Responsibilities

Volunteers will be responsible for creating and submitting grant applications to potential funding sources. Volunteers will be required to ensure the applications are correctly formatted and adhere to the guidelines of each individual funder. They will also be responsible for researching and applying for additional grants, as well as communicating with existing funders as needed.

Compensation Guidelines

Volunteers will be compensated 10% of the amount that BWS receives in funds awarded as a result of the grant applications they have submitted. This amount will be paid out quarterly via bank transfer.

Time Commitment

Volunteers will be expected to work on grant applications for a minimum of 2-4 hours per week, depending on their availability and the number of grant applications in progress at any given time.
