Bella Hadid opens up about her breakup with the weeknd

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd dated for about a year and a half before splitting last fall. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has famously moved on with Selena Gomez, whom he made his red carpet debut with at the Met Gala last week.

It’s never easy to watch an ex move on with someone new, but Abel’s relationship with Selena is extra awkward, since she’s friends with Bella’s sister, Gigi Hadid. So how is Bella doing with ~all of that~? Pretty well, actually.

In a new interview with Grazia magazine, the model admitted that she’s not in any hurry to start dating again. In fact, she’s loving the single life.

“It’s like I’m finally getting to the point where I can just think about what I want to do and the places I want to go,” she said. “I want to be as independent as possible and worry about myself rather than anyone else.”

So there you have it. Bella is doing just fine thankyouverymuch.
