**Pinky Prof’s Wake-Up Call: Why Your Body is Lying to You (And How to Shut It Up)**
—
My Dear Pinky Prof Slay warriors. This ain’t no motivational pep talk for the faint-hearted or the lazy-assed. If you’re reading this, it means deep down inside that dormant beast of yours knows something needs to change. And guess what? I’m here to light the fire under your bum and make sure you don’t just sit there scrolling through TikTok like some brain-dead zombie.
Let me paint a picture for you—because we all need a little context before we dive into the meat of things. Imagine weeks of traveling. Weeks of indulging in gourmet feasts, desserts so sweet they could rot your teeth if you didn’t brush twice daily, and enough calories to fuel an army. Now imagine coming out on the other side with your eyes wide open (*😳😜🤓). What do you see? A body that has gone soft. Muscles that have taken a vacation longer than yours. Energy levels lower than a flat tire.
Sound familiar? Good. Because today, we’re going to fix that situation.

### **The Lie Your Body Tells You After 60… Hell, Even After 40!**
Your body is a liar. Plain and simple. It will whisper sweet nothings in your ear like a manipulative ex who doesn’t want you moving on. “You’re tired,” it says. “You’ve earned this rest.” Oh yeah? Earned what exactly? The right to let gravity pull you closer to the ground while your muscles turn into mush? Forget that noise.
Here’s the truth: after 60—or hell, even after 40—your body starts trying to convince you that you’re done. That you’ve reached the expiration date. That sleep is more important than movement. But listen closely because I’m about to drop knowledge bombs on you:
1. **Sleep is not king. Movement is king.**
Sleep is great, but too much of it turns you into a useless lump. Think of your body like a car sitting in the garage for months. Sure, it might look fine from the outside, but when you finally try to start it, the engine’s dead. Don’t be that car. Get up, move, and crank those muscles back to life.
2. **Your body isn’t tired—you are mentally weak.**
Let’s call it what it is. When your body says, “I can’t,” it’s usually your mind throwing up smoke screens. Rebuke that weakness like Christ rebuked Peter. Stand firm. Push forward. Goooooo 🤩😜🤣😝😍😘
3. **Movement doesn’t have to mean running marathons.**
Nobody said you had to train for the Olympics. Just. Move. Walk around the block. Dance in your living room. Do jumping jacks while brushing your teeth. Whatever gets those joints loosened and blood pumping. Because trust me, once you get moving, the joy of the Lord—or at least the endorphins—will bubble through, and suddenly, you won’t feel half as dead as you thought you were.

### **How to Crank Up Those Dormant Muscles Like a Slay Boss**
Alright, champ, let’s break it down step by step. Here’s how you go from couch potato to unstoppable force:
#### **Step 1: Start Small**
Don’t overwhelm yourself by signing up for CrossFit on Day One. That’s a recipe for failure and injury. Instead, pick one thing—a walk, a stretch, anything—and commit to doing it every single day. Consistency beats intensity every time.
#### **Step 2: Add Fun**
Who said exercise has to be boring? Blast your favorite tunes and dance like nobody’s watching. Praise God while you lift weights. Speak in tongues during yoga. Seriously, whatever makes you smile, do it. Movement without joy is just punishment, and nobody likes punishment.
#### **Step 3: Push Through the Pain**
Yes, it’s gonna hurt. Yes, your legs will feel like jelly. Yes, your lungs might scream at you to stop. DO NOT LISTEN. Pain is temporary; regret lasts forever. Keep pushing until your body realizes you’re the slay boss, not the other way around.
#### **Step 4: Celebrate Every Win**
Finished a 10-minute walk? Celebrate. Did five push-ups without collapsing? Celebrate. Danced for three songs straight? Celebrate. Rewarding yourself keeps the momentum going. Just don’t reward yourself with cake unless you burned off the calories first.

### **Why Movement Is Freedom**
Let me tell you something profound: movement is freedom. When you’re stuck in a sedentary lifestyle, you’re literally trapping yourself in a prison of your own making. Every joint that stiffens, every muscle that weakens, is another bar in that cell. But when you move, you break free. You reclaim control over your body, your mind, and your life.
And here’s the bottom line : it’s not just physical. Moving your body affects your mental state, your emotional well-being, and even your spiritual connection. Ever noticed how you feel closer to God when you’re praising Him through song and dance? That’s no coincidence. Joy and motion are intertwined. They feed off each other, creating a cycle of positivity that lifts you higher than you ever thought possible.

### **Final Thoughts: Stop Listening to Lies**
So, Pinky Prof tribe , wherever you are, I hope your eyes are wide open now. I hope you realize that your body was made to move, to thrive, to conquer. Don’t let age—or fear—hold you back. Don’t listen to the lies your body tells you. Rebuke them. Stand tall. And most importantly, GOOOOOOO 🏃♂️🏃♀️💨
Remember, life begins at the end of your comfort zone. So get uncomfortable. Get sweaty. Get alive. Because the only thing worse than dying is living a life where you never truly lived at all.
Now, go crank those muscles back to life. The world is waiting for the real you to show up.
